The garden is beginning to show sings of spring. The crocuses and early daffodils are here; it is so mild. The I-movie is about complete. I have now been emboldened and have begun to fill in an outline on another Jewish composer of merit, eventually self- exiled in USA from central Europe in 1930’s Ernest Korngold. I am doing it for September session of U3A.
‘Blind LIfe’ organiser has asked me to a session as an author. I chose ‘ the books on Harry Parr Davies (see Bibliography and Preesntations ) as I could both illustrate his life by reading key sections of the book, but also illuutrate these with musical excerpts. This seemed to down well as the audience remember both music and performers.
